SAN DIEGO, CA – Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG) announced that Herbert Shiraishi was chosen as IFG’s 2018 Advisor of the Year in Maui, Hawaii at their annual Elite Advisor Conference. Each year, IFG selects its Elite Advisors based on total gross dealer concessions for the year. 76 winners for the 2018 year were highlighted including twenty-five Million Dollar Club winners and six Two Million Dollar Club winners.

Herb graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. His career in the financial services industry began in 1988 at an insurance agency, where he earned numerous awards and recognitions.
In 1998, Herb formed his own company, the Shiraishi Financial Group. From the onset he believed a team approach could bring added value to his clients. After successful partnerships with other broker dealers, he joined Independent Financial Group (IFG) in 2016. Herb feels that IFG provides excellent support and resources to help grow his business.
