San Diego, CA – Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG) recently hosted their 13th annual National Conference at the Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado, California during the week of August 13th. It has been the firm’s largest event to date with over 400 financial advisors, and 1,000 attendees overall. The conference featured over 60 product and service providers and over 70 breakout sessions. The meeting focuses on the new and trending in the financial services industry; most specifically in the areas of financial planning, practice management, insurance, variable annuities, mutual funds, and retirement plans. This year’s keynote speakers included: Former Blue Angels solo pilot – John Foley, contemporary multi-generational and millennial expert – Seth Mattison, financial services industry expert – Sarano Kelley, former sports agent; the “female Jerry Maguire”- Molly Fletcher and legendary football coach Lou Holtz.
